Founder, Father and Wellington local
Family. Whānau. Community. Fun. Fairness. These matter most to Ben.
As a family man who recently welcomed his fourth child, Ben has bought and sold homes of his own in the Wellington area over the last decade. When he’s not working, he’s parenting, renovating, and involved with kids’ sport and activities, schools, and extended family.
Ben is well travelled and worldly, but Wellingtonian to the core. He’s worked in sales, marketing, and business development across a range of fields, from public health to tech startups. Above all, he’s honest and up-front, genuine and down-to-earth.
Having played representative hockey at national and international level, Ben’s a natural competitor and a team player. As a coach, he understands the importance of preparation, practice, and perseverance. He puts in. He gets involved off the field, in administration and as a committee member.
He also knows how crucial it is to have a great support team around you, and was excited to get the opportunity to work with Lowe & Co – “clearly the best agents in Wellington”.
I believe everyone deserves to be treated impartially and justly, without favouritism or discrimination. I will never prioritize one client over another for any reason other than urgency.
I understand that waiting for acknowledgment, answers, and actions from an agent can add unnecessary doubt and stress to the experience of selling or buying a property, so I’m committed to reacting quickly and positively to every call, email, or conversation.
When you deal with Ben Everist, what you see is what you get. I will always say what I genuinely feel and believe, not just what I think you want to hear, and I respect the same in others.
I recognise buying or selling a property is a big deal, something most people do only a handful of times in their lives. My mission is to get everything right every time, to give you consistently good service and communication, and to be completely worthy of your trust.
My own immediate and extended family is absolutely central to my life – it’s why I do what I do. So whatever family means to you… matters to me.
